First and foremost, I believe we should be attentive of the institutional outcomes. What kind of graduate do we aim to develop?
Then we should understand what the program's goal is. It's in the program's outcomes and objectives.
Following that, a thorough knowledge of what a learner might attain or the desired learning outcomes is essential.
When we understand exactly the targeted learning outcomes ( it is in the proforma or course description), we should be able to plan the learning.
Which should include effective learning and teaching strategies/activities, as well as appropriate assessment methods that allow students to show what they have learned.
What is the best way to begin a class? By carrying out the strategy and maintaining some flexibility.
